You will need:

Graduated from nursing school (2-3 years 4-5 years AD to BSN)

Working for one or two years, I rec. Part of the adult med / surg as a platform. You never know when you need and keeps his options open. Then, a regular nursery, neonatal intensive care unit.

You do not need formal training to achieve the goal of neonatal intensive care unit, it may all FPT. But you will find one-day courses are offered in the community, offered to enrich uranium.

How much will it cost depends on the decisions you - BSN vs. AD go (for the BSN, if possible) and the disadvantages of private schools.

I am the wound and ostomy nurse and love my career.
